Privacy Policy
We are an independent preceptor placement service for Western Governors University MSN nurse practitioner students. Leavitt School of Health, or CCNE. This policy explains exactly what we collect through our forms, why we collect it, and what we never do with it.
What information do you collect?
We collect only what we need to plan your preceptor placement. When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the WGU track you are pursuing (MSN FNP, MSN PMHNP, a post-master's APRN certificate, or the RN-to-BSN community field experience).
We may also collect details you volunteer about your rotation, such as your target Clinical Internship start term, your geographic area, and any clinical sites or preceptor leads you already have. You choose what to share; only name, email, phone, and track are needed to begin.
- Identity: name
- Contact: email and phone
- Program: your WGU track and target Clinical Internship term
- Optional: location, existing site or preceptor leads
How is my information used?
Your information is used only to plan and coordinate your preceptor placement. We use your track and location to identify and verify a WGU-approvable preceptor and both required clinical sites, and we use your contact details to reach you about progress on your Affiliation Agreement.
Because WGU keeps no list of preceptors and asks students to find their own, our work is time-sensitive. WGU advises engaging your Placement Coordinator in the Clinical Learning and Placement Support team about one year before Clinical Internship I, and an Affiliation Agreement can take up to six months to negotiate. We use your details to keep that timeline on track and to help you clear the Field Experience Page in your Student Portal.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not create automated decisions that affect you without a human reviewing them.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We never sell your personal information, and we never rent or trade it. We do not pass your data to WGU, to preceptors, or to any third party except where it is strictly required to deliver the placement you asked for.
Limited sharing may occur when a clinical site's own onboarding requires it, for example when a site verifies you through DISA Healthcare Technology and the Complio platform, or through ACEMAPP or CastleBranch. In those cases you complete the site's process directly; we share only what that specific step requires and only with your knowledge.
We do not send any payment to preceptors, and no part of our fee is a preceptor payment, so your financial details are used only to bill our own sourcing, verification, and affiliation-agreement work.
How is my information protected and how long is it kept?
We limit access to your information to the staff coordinating your placement, and we retain it only as long as needed to complete your rotation planning and to meet legal or accounting obligations. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Because our contact channels are still being established (WhatsApp and SMS are pending), please use the contact form on this site to make a request, and we will confirm and act on it.
Good to know
Are you affiliated with WGU?
No. Leavitt School of Health, or CCNE. WGU keeps no preceptor list and asks students to find their own preceptor; we help you do that and shepherd the Affiliation Agreement.
Will you give my contact details to a preceptor before I approve?
No. We share your details with a prospective preceptor or site only to arrange the placement you asked for, and only when you are ready to proceed. We never sell your data or hand it to WGU.
